Carrie Underwood is always my favourite country singer. She was origin from American Idol, but i am not sure which year she won. Her single "Jesus, take a wheel" won the best female artist in year 2007, if i am not mistaken. Her amazing voice is most attractive to me and i can't stop playing her songs sometimes. Lol. Take a look at the below video and you will find out how powerful and stunning her voice is if you have no idea who she is or if you think i bullshit about her.

Through an RFQ (request for qualification) process, the New South Town of Miyi County in the Sichuan Province of China selected the Los Angeles-based team of Studio SHIFT and SWA Group to create a master plan for the developing area. As part of the new plan, Studio SHIFT has designed a tower containing various programs aimed at promoting the region’s heritage and natural amenities. The tower sits at the edge of the Anning River and will mark the transition between the new development to the north and the new wetlands, leisure and agricultural districts to the south.

The promenade itself consists of a series of parks and public spaces, featuring sustainable technology such as photovoltaic fields and wind turbines. The tower is designed as an educational building for residents and the multitude of tourists that visit every year. Because the town is known for its abundance of sunshine and temperate climate, only half of the building’s program elements are enclosed.

Arghhhhhhhh, Rihanna is coming to Malaysia. I believe it is a very good news to music fans, especially those Rihanna's super fans. Rihanna is always one of my favourite singer. I started to like her when she released her 'A Girl Like Me' album. The tracks i am in favour of in this album is 'Unfaithful', 'We Ride', 'SOS' and so much. I am so fond of 'Unfaithful'. She was so goddammned sexy and charming. However, in Malaysia, she was not that impressive at that time not until she released her single 'Umbrella'. I believe whole Malaysia and even whole world start to know her existence in music world. Her hairstyle has become all girls' favourite hairstyle and become a trend. However, 'Umbrella' the mtv was not of my favour after all. I hope she will continue expanding her career and mostly importantly sing more good songs to us. She will always be my number one favourite artist all the time, even when i grow old. Lol.

Cocoon Tower in Tokyo

Standing in Tokyo's distinctive high-rise district of Nishi-Shinjuku, Tange Associates' Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower stands as a symbol of innovation and exception in educational design. It is no wonder this awesome construction was recently awarded as Skyscraper of the Year by Emporis.

The 50 level building contains 3 different schools: Tokyo Mode Gakuen (fashion), HAL Tokyo (IT and digital contents) and Shuto Iko (medical treatments and care). Tange Associates advise: "The building’s innovative shape and cutting edge façade embodies our unique “Cocoon” concept. Embraced within this incubating form, students are inspired to create, grow and transform."
The vertical campus, which completed in October, can hold 10,000 students and incorporates a 3-storey high atrium to substitute as a 'schoolyard', called the 'Student Lounge' and multi-use corridors where communication can flourish.

The tower floor plan is simple. Three rectangular classroom areas rotate 120 degrees around the inner core. From the 1st floor to the 50th floor, these rectangular classroom areas are arranged in a curvilinear form. The inner core consists of an elevator, staircase and shaft. The Student Lounge is located between the classrooms and face three directions, east, southwest and northwest. Greenery planted at lower levels brings nature and softness to the design and its elliptical form swathed in an aluminium curtain wall creates a form pleasing to the eye from every level whilst minimising the building's footprint.

Boring Day 2: Beautiful Thoughts

This morning, i received a forwarded e-mail from my friend. This e-mail is about some positive and must-have thoughts on how we live meaningfully and beautifully. Without this thoughts, we will 'perish' emotionally and we cannot stand our grounds firmly.

Sometimes, words speak easier than actions. We are so rational when giving advice to people who are in trouble. But when it happens to us, the rationality is gone and may even try on something stupid that sabotage ourselves. So, it is important that we must learn how to appreciate when we face lovely or adverse circumstances. We must always beware when we face lovely circumstance that we may underestimate or lower our guard against certain dangers we take for granted all along. In facing adverse circumstance, we must not give up and do not let ourselves crumble and astray.

In the dinner, Wei Fu won the Best Malaysian Actor Award. That's for sure. Haha. However, i did enjoy and made stupid stuff as well. Don't blame me because this is me - playful, naughty, childish and foolish. Lol.

First Boring D@y

(Sigh) my college life is over after the big fight with the 'war of exam'. For all of us, we feel a very huge relief. Anyway, before we left our lovely classmates, our 'helpful' printing manager suggested to have 'last supper' in a restaurant named La Casa in Kepong. At first, he described the place as high class. But when i entered, i felt like a fool. (No offence, Keen haha). Anyway, the environment is quite okay as we could enjoy the scenic view. There is a man-made lake and garden with jogging path. At there, a friend and i ordered seperately with others and shared the food as both of us are vegetarian. As i am more particular and careful, he kept trying the food for me to make sure no garlic and onion in the food (If not, i will be sick for days la, no joke!!). We ordered 3 dishes of food. If you are able to guess how much we shared per person for the them, I'll give you a big treat!! Anyway, my friends are contented with reasonableness of price as they order to set lunch and costs cheaper than us. Sigh... Life...

During the dinner time, the restaurant was nearly 'collapsed' because of us, evenly the waiter and waitress were having headache with us. We could even play while having the dinner. It's needless to mention about how crazy we became during the photo section. You will drop your mouth and say 'Bloody hell!! Nothing to play ah!!'. I guess the customers there would shake their heads and say "A bunch of nuts!"

In here, i wish Venny happy birthday again. Although it was too early for us to celebrate for you, i guess you would not mind. Remember that we all waited for you to make-up for half an hour. Lol.

In the Garden, things became more crazier. Our classmates... You will vomit to see them, seriously. Haha. Wei Fu, you are the best....joker. Better than the Joker in Batman. Haha. Next Jim Carrey will be you.

(Sigh). Long time we did not enjoy as we were busy for thesis and Project Evaluation and Development Assignment. These two homeworks drove us crazy and panic whole semester. We have gone for battles together physically and mentally, helped each others, joked about lecturers and QS students, etc. I am gonna miss the day!!
