English Class

Joining the English class was definitely the right decision ever. The class lasted for a month time only. I feel it is too short for a language class. Recalling back on first day induction, some of them were offered to join English class. Not necessary to join, I promised myself i would definitely join the class for my own sake - to improve my English level standard and to give support to the University.

I remembered on Monday of the second week, it rained. However, the rain did not hinder me from joining the class. When i stepped into the class, to my surprise, not much students were there in the class. Maybe because of the rain. I asked permission of the English tutor, Judith to join the class. After a long pause, she finally allowed me to join. I count my lucky star.

Judith is a funny person. Her every seminar was never boring. I enjoyed myself so much in the class. We learn proper pronunciation, common Malaysia students' mistakes in English, etc. Pronouncing correctly is really a hard one. In the first day, Judith taught us to pronounce 'live' and 'leave'. Her expression was so funny and I found it was too interesting. I am always weak in spoken English. It was the right time for me to learn and correct myself.

After third week, i was so much disappointed with students who offered to join the English class. They did not bother to join the class at all. In Malaysia, people pay for English class to improve themselves. It was a good opportunity to learn better English as it was taught by English people. It is so much better to be taught by qualified one rather than Malaysian teachers who don't even realise they make mistakes in their English. Most importantly, the class was free. I did not find any reason why they did not appreciate such a good opportunity. Laziness is the biggest weakness in human I guess.

On the last day of the seminar, we managed to take photos with Judith. Judith, thank you so much.
