The University organised a visit to nearest site. The site is undergoing a refurbishment work. It is a theater called Crucible Theater. According to the Project Manager, the building is one of the listed buildings in United Kingdom. The architecture must be carefully designed. The project manager talked about the problems faced before and existing problems. My colleagues doubted that because the area for refurbishment is so small. From my experience, every project has its own problems, no matter the project is small or big in size. To my disappointment, we were not brought for walking around the site. The Project Manager just briefed us about the history of the theater, the problems and some technical knowledge.
Anyway, it is appreciative that the Project Manager's willingness to spend the whole day with us as there were 5 groups visiting the site in different time. He almost spent his whole day with us. Thanks to the University for such the site visit.
